MERINO WOOL

Natural, warm and breathable, wool is a fiber that does not need frequent washing. Airing the garment after each use helps keep it fresh and prolong the time between washes.

· WASHING

Wool garments should be hand-washed in cold water, or using a specific wool program.

• Use a small amount of special detergent for wool or delicate garments.
• Do not leave the garment soaking.
• Avoid rubbing, twisting or stretching the fabric.
• Rinse gently with clean water.
• To remove excess water, wrap the garment in a towel and press gently.

Wool is especially sensitive to heat and friction. A gentle wash helps preserve its shape, softness and original appearance.

· DRYING

Wool garments should always be dried flat and outdoors. Place the garment on a horizontal surface and gently restore its shape while it is still damp. Hanging it is not recommended, as the weight of the water can cause the fabric to stretch or deform. Leave to dry in the shade and away from direct heat sources.

· IRONING

Wool hardly needs ironing. If wrinkles appear, steam may be enough to restore its shape. If ironing is necessary, always do so on the reverse side and at a low temperature, placing a cloth between the iron and the fabric.

· CARE AND STORAGE

With use, small pills may appear on the surface of the fabric. This is a natural process of wool fibers and does not affect the quality of the garment. They can be gently removed with a lint remover or a comb specifically designed for knitwear. It is recommended to store wool garments folded, in a dry place and protected from moisture.
