GARMENT CARE
Every garment is designed to retain its feel, shape, and beauty over time. Each fiber has its own characteristics and requires specific care.
Delicate washing, proper drying, and correct storage help maintain the original qualities of each garment. Before any washing, always consult the composition and care instructions on the label.
VISCOSE
Light, soft, and with a fluid drape, viscose provides movement and an especially pleasant sensation when worn. It is a fiber sensitive to water and friction, so it requires delicate care, especially when wet.
1 — WASHING
Viscose garments should be hand-washed in cold water, or on a delicate cycle at a low temperature when the label allows it.
- Wash the garment inside out.
- Use a mild, liquid detergent.
- Do not soak for long periods.
- Avoid rubbing, twisting, or wringing the garment.
- Rinse gently with cold water.
When wet, viscose can become stiffer and temporarily change its shape. This is a natural characteristic of the fiber. With proper drying, it will gradually regain its softness and drape.
2 — DRYING
Tumble drying is not recommended. Remove excess water by gently pressing the garment or wrapping it in a towel. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry and gently reshape while damp. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
3 — IRONING
Viscose can wrinkle after washing. Delicate ironing will help restore its drape and original appearance. Always iron inside out and at a low temperature. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth between the iron and the garment. Steam can also help restore the fabric's fluidity.
4 — CARE AND STORAGE
Viscose benefits from infrequent and delicate washing. To preserve the drape and shape of knitted garments for longer, it is recommended to store them folded and avoid hanging them when they might deform under their own weight. Careful attention helps preserve the softness, movement, and original appearance of the garment.
